Youth Orchestra Director Visits Brook Hill
Dr. Moon, the Orchestra Director at SFA and the conductor for the Longview Symphony came to The Brook Hill School on Wednesday to encourage our students to audition for the East Texas Youth Orchestra, (ETYO)聽that he also conducts.聽 The ETYO is made up of two groups, a middle school and an upper school audition only orchestra.聽 It is a full orchestra meaning that it takes winds and percussion as well as strings.聽 Dr. Moon conducts the upper school group and Sarah Reason, an illustrious Brook Hill alumni, directs the middle school group.聽 We have several students auditioning and hope to get a couple more from his visit. Wish our students luck this weekend as they try-out!
