Students vote in mock election on Election Day
Students were able to go to the American Freedom Museum on Election Day and cast their vote for the next President of the United States. Students had the opportunity to study and read about the views and stances of candidates before making their decision. At Brook Hill, we want to teach our students the importance of democracy and their ability to vote. We also want to educate students about our government and enable them to have the tools to study, research, and make informed decisions based on their values and beliefs. This was a great opportunity for our students to begin to think about the issues facing our country and learn how the democratic process works!
