Makaela Vandenhouten joined Brook Hill in 2025 for her first year and is grateful for the opportunity to serve students as they grow in both their learning and character. She loves being part of a community that values faith, education, and investing in the next generation. Before Brook Hill, she attended Texas A&M University, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Sociology. While at Texas A&M, she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She and her husband, Noah, reside in Tyler. Outside of Brook Hill, she enjoys reading, interior design, sports, and traveling.
