Steven Soldi
Born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Steve’s early life centered on baseball. His stellar play earned him a selection to the Bay State team, a scholarship to the College of the Holy Cross, and an invitation to the Hawaii League. In his undergraduate years, he studied Economics and English. After his days as a financial advisor, he attended the University of Dallas to deepen his understanding of the Humanities. His interdisciplinary program in the Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts combined the pursuit of History, Philosophy, Theology, Literature, and Art, all of which nourished both the intellectual and spiritual life.
For over a decade, Steve taught in integrated humanities programs at private schools and boarding schools in New England and the South. Most notably, he germinated and nurtured his legendary Advanced Placement Humanities course, which weaved together American History, American Political Philosophy, and American Literature, at Brook Hill from 2019–2025. Along the way, he also published essays on education, literature, and culture in academic journals, including VoegelinView, Church Life, Front Porch Republic, and Public Discourse.
A two-time Teacher of the Year, he currently directs The Brook Hill School of Business, bringing his passion for entrepreneurship, finance, and leadership to the next generation. He and his wife, Elizabeth, a native Texan, live in Bullard with their four children: Anthony, Gianna, Sylvia, and Lucia.
