Robyn Ortega, a native of East Texas, has come back home and ready to love on some Middle School students in Math and Spanish. She completed her degree at Texas A&M (Whoop!) in Middle School Education which followed by an incredible student teaching experience in the Dominican Republic, where the only Spanish words she knew were mainly Tex Mex menu items (Enchilada? Taco? Salsa?). What started out as a semester became 7 years of investing in students and families with cultural adventures sprinkled in. After that time, God re-directed her steps to Gainesville, FL where she continued her path in Educational Administration with supporting teachers in the classrooms. The Lord also brought her husband, Dario, to her and they are now expecting their first child later this year. Mrs. Ortega loves a good cup of coffee, themed parties and pretending she has a green thumb. To God be the glory, forever and ever, amen!
