Katie Markasky graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009 before starting a career as a CPA. After competing on the UIL accounting team in high school and working as a bookkeeper in college and loved it, she knew she would become an accountant. As a CPA, Katie’s held leadership roles such as Manager for a tax and audit firm and Finance Director for a manufacturing company, before following her heart to Brook Hill. She is excited to provide actionable data and strategies to align Brook Hill’s financial resources with its vision of excellence and long-term success. Katie is married to Johnny Markasky who works as a paramedic/firefighter in Jacksonville. They have two boys, Cam (class of 2033) and Luke (class of 2038). Outside of work, Katie loves cooking and spending most weekends at the ballpark with her family.
