Softball: Lady Guard falls on the road at Jacksonville
JACKSONVILE鈥擝rook Hill鈥檚 bats were held in check by Class 5A Jacksonville on Monday in a 15-0 loss.
The Lady Guard had two hits, both of them doubles, by Alyssa Duplichain and Cassie Cannon, but both runners were left stranded.
Brook Hill helped the opposition with six fielding errors as Kasey Anderson took the loss, allowing five earned runs on five hits with seven walks and two strikeouts.
Brook Hill dropped to 11-7. The Lady Guard will next open up district play on Tuesday at Tyler Grace Community.
