Guard Chorale Performs at TAPPS State Vocal Contest
The Brook Hill Guard Chorale competed recently in the TAPPS State Vocal Contest. Out of nineteen 4A schools, the Guard Chorale placed 5th in the state, based on ratings from solos, small ensembles, and large group performances. With only an 8 point differential between 3rd and 5th place, the competition was stiff! The students memorized a great deal of music and were outstanding ambassadors for our school during the two long and demanding days. Just like our wonderful orchestra, we have a wonderfully varied group of athletes, scholars, and artists, including both boarding and day students. It鈥檚 a beautiful picture of the Brook Hill mission statement! Be sure and congratulate these musicals when you see them!
