Second grade completed their second service project in February. Students worked at home performing chores to earn extra money for the purchase of cuddly friends. Donations were delivered to Children’s Advocacy Center on Valentine’s Day. Many children in Smith County will receive love from the Brook Hill community.

Mrs. Batis’s class performed the Faithfulness of Isaiah during chapel last week. Isaiah loved God. He became a prophet of God and taught others about Him.

Students in Mrs. Brown鈥檚 3rd grade class have enjoyed making Valentine cards for senior citizens this week. They will be delivered today to KGLY along with cards from Mrs. Attebery and Mrs. Dahn鈥檚 classes. Celebrities from KGLY will hand deliver the Valentines on Valentine鈥檚 Day.
Students in Mrs. Brown鈥檚 class had a surprise challenge this morning when they were given a puzzle using multiplication problems to solve. The puzzle eventually created a heart. They were so excited when they completed the puzzles and proud that they have worked very hard to know their multiplication tables!
Kindergarten students have learned about animal habits in winter this semester. As a culmination of this unit, students taught the class about their assigned animal using a poster they created at home.
