Hannah Windsor, one of our Upper School orchestra students, received a merit award for Fine Arts First Place Violin Solo. After receiving her award, she got the chance to perform on stage!
At the end of Fine Arts Week at the Lower School, the Lower School Orchestra students got to perform several songs for an assembly of their peers, teachers and families.
For Fine Arts week, students at the Lower School were able to experience many different aspects of Fine Arts at Brook Hill. Students from the Upper School Chorale, Orchestra and Drama departments performed before Lower School students received awards on stage.
The Middle School drama students work diligently during the fall semester to stretch and strengthen their theatrical abilities. Students designed their animals in their sketchbooks, created an armature, wrapped the armatures with plaster gauze strips, coated the surface with joint compound and sanded. Finally, the students will paint their sculptures and add embellishments.
