BASKETBALL

INTENTIONAL

THAT ONE WORD CAPTURES THE ESSENCE OF WOMEN’S BASKETBALL AT BROOK HILL.

Every single day, our coaching staff approaches practice with purpose — intentionally working to improve the skills and strategies necessary to win. Whether it’s fine-tuning a specific part of the game plan or focusing on individual skill development, each session has a clear objective. We want to ensure that when the lights shine in Herrington Gymnasium — or in any gym we step into — what we put on the court is something the entire Brook Hill community can be proud of.

But our mission goes beyond basketball. We are intentional about building an environment where every player feels like a valued part of the team — not just for what they contribute on the court, but for who they are as a person.

Whether a player is scoring 20 points a night or providing energy and encouragement from the bench, she knows her role matters. The relationships between teammates, and between players and coaches are no accident — they are the product of deliberate care and attention. These bonds are the “secret ingredient” to our program’s success.

Most importantly, we are intentional about sharing with each girl the truth that she is deeply loved by God. We want our players to know that even though we fall short every day, His love never changes. His grace is not something we can earn or lose — it’s freely given because He loves us that much.

COACH JEREME HUBBARD

Coach Hubbard is the 24-25 Class 5A District 2 Coach of the Year as well as the 24-25 All-Rose County Coach of the year. He has led our women’s basketball team to back-to-back area championships and secured a 65-16 record of the last two seasons.

“Yes, we want to win games. We want to compete for championships. But more than that, we want every player to walk away from this program knowing who she is and whose she is. That’s the victory that matters most.”

Assistant Coaches: Suzanne Braly, Jonathan Cox
